This
semester, I took Geography of Human-Environmental Interaction, Intro to
Environmental Studies, and Religion and Ecology. Both the geography and
environmental studies classes were very similar; often times we would discuss
current events and I would leave the class feeling saddened but determined to
make the planet healthy again. With this class, I truly appreciated the
difference compared to the other two. This class, because of the religion, was
not as direct, and focused a lot on how we can find peace in nature and religion
together, and not focusing on the destruction of nature like the other two
classes. It was very interesting to take all three at the same time, but I enjoyed
the experience.
